Frequently Asked Questions
About mask
Why wearing a face mask?
Facemasks can help to lower the spread of viruses, bacteria, and other germs by stopping the majority of speech-generated droplets that occur when we speak, cough, or sneeze, which is their primary route of transmission.
Does my mask protect me from infections?
Facemasks can lower the risk of potential infections by helping you avoid touching your mouth and nose, which an average person does about 23 times per hour, based on a study by the National Center of Biotechnology. Simultaneously, by wearing a mask you may protect your fellow humans from possible droplet infections when you speak, cough, or sneeze.
When is it recommended to wear a mask?
Currently, the Centers for Disease Control advise to always wear a mask in public where social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. This applies to supermarkets, public transport, shops, and other public places.
